Biography

Dr. Marshall is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in adolescent medicine. Her primary patients are teenagers where she provides yearly physicals and treats common illnesses including colds, asthma, rashes, sprained ankles. She also treats specific concerns relating to birth control, sexually transmitted infections, weight related concerns including eating disorders, depression and anxiety, and difficulty managing school and social situations. All services are provided confidentially in accordance with State of Michigan Minor Consent Laws.

In addition to her role as a pediatric specialist at Wayne Pediatrics, Dr. Marshall serves as professor of pediatrics at Wayne State University School of Medicine. 

In her spare time, Dr. Marshall enjoys gardening and finds digging in dirt a great stress reliever. She also enjoys spending time with her cat, Daniel, whom she says is very playful and as of late, seems to enjoy interrupting her Zoom meetings.

 

Education – Degrees, Licenses, Certifications

Dr. Marshall received her medical degree from University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, MO. She completed pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, MI. She completed fellowships in adolescent medicine at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Washington.
