Biography

Dr. Meade serves as clinical psychologist and multidisciplinary team member for pediatric patients at the Horizons Project, housed at Wayne Pediatrics. Core to her work is coordinating and providing mental health services (developmental and psychological testing, therapy, support groups) for outpatients infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. She is committed to advancing the practice of pediatric psychology and supports the education of graduate students in working with medical populations.

In her spare time, Dr. Meade likes spending time with family, traveling, and playing the clarinet in a community concert band.

Education – Degrees, Licenses, Certifications

Dr. Meade is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She completed her psychology internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and her psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.
